Our client needed to quickly and safely expand the capacity of their warehouse in Germany. The expansion of this automated warehouse needed collaboration between four countries, with Beck & Pollitzer Poland taking the lead and providing the necessary skilled labor, supervision expertise, advanced equipment, and management know-how.
The project was challenging as it involved installing and commissioning 80 sorting stations and inducting over 350 autonomous robots into an active warehouse. With space very limited, the Beck & Pollitzer team knew accurate inventory management held the key to success. Most of the equipment needed to be moved, unpacked and installed on the same day, with 30 vehicles requiring unloading.
