How to accurately position an NMP recovery unit in a location with restricted headroom? That was the latest challenge Beck & Pollitzer UK faced as they continue to help build a greener future by supporting clients working in battery power and electrification.
This challenging project took our experts to the Midlands region of the UK and required them to engineer a custom solution—an area in which we have many, many years of experience.
The NMP Recovery unit weighed in at a neat 20,000kg. Working alongside our client and a specialist engineering team, we pre-assembled the unit on a bespoke 20m x 8m mezzanine platform. Then we used our 400-ton lifting gantry to move the fully assembled unit (total weight 45,000kg) into place.
As ever, our ability to effectively collaborate and develop innovative solutions ensured the successful and safe completion of another industrial machinery installation project. Our client’s battery industrialisation centre now has new equipment that it can use to continue making an important contribution to a more sustainable future.
