Leipzig Orchestra – 1930s

Leipzig Orchestra, one of the many clients who toured with the Beck & Pollitzer Travel Division

This photo was taken in the 1930s and features one of the trips organized by the Beck & Pollitzer Travel division. As you can see from the image, the client was the Leipzig Orchestra, which is a German symphony that has been active since 1743.

The Beck & Pollitzer Travel division had several notable clients during its 30-year existence, as it provided a convenient way for large touring organizations to complete their journeys alongside their equipment and baggage. It catered to such clients as theatre companies (with all their costumes, stage equipment and props), orchestras and choirs (with their instruments) and other entertainers.

As with our modern machinery relocation services, the Travel division provided safe and efficient passage all over the world.
