British Trade Fair 1960s

This ThrowbackThursday is from the 1960s and shows an exhibition stand that Beck & Pollitzer built for the Council of Industrial Design. Now known simply as “The Design Council”, the organization was a UK charity set up “to champion great design that improves lives and makes things better”.

Although the client was British, the stand was one of the many exhibitions built by Beck & Pollitzer for the 1960 British Trade Fair, held in New York, USA.

Beck & Pollitzer no longer provides exhibition stands for our clients, but we are no strangers to delivering machinery relocation and installation projects in the USA. Clarkson Industrial, Part of Beck & Pollitzer Group, is located in South Carolina, USA, and provides Beck & Pollitzer with local knowledge and an ever-growing global reach.
