Briggs Tank relocation

Briggs Tank relocation project completed in 1993 by a dedicated heavy haulage division of Beck & Pollitzer

This ThrowbackThursday is from 1993 and shows the relocation of a Briggs Tank at the Yoxall Bridge in Staffordshire, UK.
During the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, Beck & Pollitzer had a specialist division dedicated to the dismantling and relocation of wide and heavy loads, such as the tank pictured here. As the relocation projects were often completed by road, some of the larger loads meant Beck & Pollitzer was to be accompanied by a police escort. This ensured the safety of the project team and any motorists along the route.

Health & Safety is Beck & Pollitzer’s highest priority. To find out more about our commitment to safe, successful working environments, visit our Health & Safety page on the Beck & Pollitzer website: www.beck-pollitzer.com/services/health-safety/
