Case Study

Relocation of three co-extrusion lines

Beck & Pollitzer completed a demanding relocation project for a packing materials producer. The project involved moving 3 co-extrusion lines, an incinerator and three printing lines from Nýřany, Czech, to a new building in Dobřany, Czech.

Our team dismantled the equipment and transported the equipment 17kms to assemble it in its new location. This included 3 co-extrusion lines, steel structures and technological parts, plus electrical and mechanical work.

The project required almost 6 months of organisation and co-ordination preparation. After completion, the team assisted with commissioning and production set-up.

In order to meet the demanding schedule set out by the client, Beck & Pollitzer worked as a continuous 24/7 operation, which totalled 8,950 man hours.
