Beck & Pollitzer Poland successfully executed a high-precision installation project for a Tier-1 food manufacturing client, involving the complex manoeuvring of large-scale production tanks. By deploying advanced rigging techniques and a specialised multi-disciplinary team, we transitioned the equipment from delivery to operational readiness in a single high-intensity window.
The scope of work included:
- Offloading and sequence-staging of three oversized production tanks
- Moving the tanks to their final installation points
- Advanced vertical alignment with the use of optical levelling and precision plumbing tools
- Final placement of the tanks on pre-set anchor bolts with millimetre accuracy
To carry out the project safely and efficiently, the team utilised a 5-ton forklift and a crane. The operation was completed in a single day, demonstrating Beck & Pollitzer’s ability to manage complex material handling tasks within tight timelines.
The project team consisted of one project engineer and three mechanical fitters, working a total of 40 project hours. Throughout the process, high safety and quality standards were maintained, ensuring that all tanks were installed correctly and ready for immediate operational use.
