Stop Work Policy: Our commitment to Safety

Beck & Pollitzer’s STOP WORK policy empowers all our staff and contractors to halt work when they believe an unsafe act is in progress or about to happen. This policy is supported by the Senior Leadership Team and our local General and Engineering Managers.

We would like to congratulate and thanks four individuals who recently activated the STOP WORK policy: ensuring a safe environment for themselves and their colleagues.

The first photo shows Zimáček Vítězslav (mechanical fitter), Robert Novák (mechanical fitter) and Martin Orság (electrician – supervisor) from the Czech Republic. They jointly stopped work on a project, which led to a review and change of the RAMS to ensure the activity was carried out safely.

The second photo shows John Butler (installation operative) from the UK. He halted a contractor who was carrying out an unsafe activity, therefore preventing possible harm to himself and his colleagues.

We would like to thank these individuals for their vigilance and commitment to Health & Safety. Well done!
