It’s a brand new year, and already we have an anniversary to celebrate! This January marks Beck & Pollitzer’s 20th year in business in Germany. And, as with many of our international teams, the story of our German operations is all about growth and change – both in personnel and in our offices!
Let’s rewind to 2002 when our start-up Germany HQ was established at Otterstadt (Rheinland- Pfalz). Our stay there was short-lived as the very next year, the business relocated to Essen, Ruhrallee. This proved to be a more long-term home in which Beck & Pollitzer flourished for nearly a decade before moving elsewhere in Essen – to Hangebank in early 2012.
While in Essen, the business grew from a sole employee to a full office team. Initially, the focus was on generating sales for other parts of the Beck & Pollitzer Group. But gradually, as the business grew, our German colleagues opened their own warehouse and began to take on their own projects using the skills of a homegrown team.
That expansion continued further when, in 2019, montagen plus and montageprofis joined Beck & Pollitzer, which eventually led to the unification of all our German operations in our HQ based in Nürnberg.
At the beginning of this year, Germany HQ moved to Wendelstein, and it’s from there that we continue to deliver outstanding machine installation and relocation services.
