This week’s ThrowbackThursday is one of our favourite “Seen Around” photos. It was taken in 1987, en route to a heavy haulage project in Stone, Kent, UK.
On the way to the destination site, our Beck & Pollitzer team was halted by a new Lotus Esprit, one of the 1980s most sought-after sports cars. The Esprit was manufactured from 1981-1987, and its design was influential in creating the famous DMC Delorean—the car featured in the Back to the Future films. It was certainly unusual to see one on the rural roads of Kent, England!
