Beck & Pollitzer India recently completed a major installation project for one of Asia’s largest renewable energy giga factories, located in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. Spanning over 6,000 acres and housing multiple production facilities, including solar glass, solar PV panels, battery cells, and green hydrogen, this state-of-the-art complex represents a significant step in advancing sustainable energy infrastructure in the region.
This achievement builds upon our proven experience, including the successful installation of another Solar Glass line in the South of India for a global glass industry leader. We continue this legacy of excellence, adapting to diverse customer requirements and helping them achieve their critical setup milestones.
Our team was responsible for the complete installation of the combined workshop equipment for the solar glass manufacturing line. This included mechanical, electrical, and utilities packages, delivered from container unloading through to final commissioning support. The project was executed within a highly constrained space, demanding meticulous planning, precise sequencing, and expert coordination to maintain safety and efficiency throughout.
Beck & Pollitzer’s scope of work covered the full cycle of industrial installation activities, which included:
- Mechanical and electrical installations – including levelling, assembly of auxiliaries, and cleanroom preparation under OEM supervision.
- Utilities and floor marking services – ensuring optimal layout and integration of systems.
- Precision alignment – using theodolite technology to achieve the required tolerances.
- Comprehensive handling and logistics – dismantling containers and positioning heavy equipment within the constrained workspace.
- Commissioning assistance – supporting testing and start-up to bring the line into full operational readiness.
