170t press removal
Beck & Pollitzer Hungary was contracted to remove an old 170t press, the crown alone weighing a mighty 70t, with some parts of the equipment removed by flame and plasma cutting. The complex process was completed under strict Health & Safety supervision.
The equipment used for the project include:
- 500t Power Tower for lifting the press components
- 2x 7t, LPG powered forklifts for movement of the removed parts
- 1x 15m Articulated boom for supporting of the gantry works
- Plasma/flame cutting tools
After the successful removal of the old press, our experienced team will be responsible for the new press installation.
