Replacement of robotised underbody production line
One of the biggest automobile manufacturers trusted us with the replacement of an underbody line including fourteen pieces of robots and ten pieces of robot bases at a welding shop in Czech.
The replacement project included electrical and mechanical dismantling, relocation of new robots in place of existing ones, connection of services and exhaust system. Some of the equipment used for the project were:
1x FLT Hyster 5.5t electrical
1x FLT VersaLift 40/60 with crane jib
1x FLT Hyster 7.0 with a crane jib
The main challenge of this project was lifting and moving the robots over fences and some other components which required very precise work. A total of 24 operatives and 940 project hours were utilised to complete the project on time and with 100% satisfaction from the client. Safety was our main concern, and careful strategic planning was essential to ensure the work was completed safely.
