Global project highlights

Australia – Installation for grid and peripheral systems
In Australia, our team installed critical grid and peripheral systems. This project reinforced our ability to support the infrastructure necessary for evolving energy and industrial demands.

Germany – Relocation of automated stamping machines
Our team in Germany undertook a highly complex project involving the relocation of fully automated stamping machines for an automotive technology supplier. Acting as the general contractor, we managed every aspect of the project—from dismantling and transportation to reinstallation and commissioning—ensuring seamless execution. Czech Republic – Installation of a curing oven for Saint-Gobain
Our team assisted in the installation of a curing oven and its accessories for a leading European engineering company specialising in industrial plant construction. The project took place at a major building sector company’s site in the Czech Republic and involved positioning six individual oven sections, each weighing between 30 to 40 tons, onto pre-installed rails within the production hall. Due to space constraints, the installation was executed through the roof using a 500-ton mobile crane, requiring precise planning, structural assessments, and coordination with rigging specialists to ensure accuracy and safety. The project was completed on time and within budget, adhering to strict European safety standards and reinforcing our expertise in handling complex industrial installations efficiently and securely. United Kingdom – Dismantling and relocation of a press line
In the UK, we completed the dismantling of a massive press line comprising a 2000-ton press, three 1000-ton presses, and robotic handling systems. Our team used the advanced SBL1100 Gantry System to ensure precision. The press line was successfully packed, shipped to India, and prepared for reinstallation—all within a tight 16-week timeframe.

USA – Baggage handling system installation at Miami Cruise Port
Our summer in sunny Miami was spent installing a sophisticated baggage handling system at the city’s newest cruise port. This complex project involved mechanical and electrical installations of sorters, baggage carousels, and supporting steelwork, showcasing our technical prowess and adaptability.

Hungary – Dismantling of ventilators for ESAB

Poland – Relocation of a production line
Our Poland team successfully relocated a production line within a challenging timeframe during the sweltering Italian summer. Despite tight deadlines and extreme conditions, the project was completed on time, showcasing our team’s resilience and efficiency.

These included first aid training in Poland, which emphasised lifesaving techniques, and working-at-height training to improve safety protocols when working in elevated areas.

Specialised training like rigging safety in the USA, gantry training in the Czech Republic, and on-the-job sessions in France and Prerov further demonstrated our focus on upskilling employees to handle complex operations. The efforts of our teams earned us the ROSPA Gold Award for health and safety excellence for the eighth consecutive year, as well as the Ecovadis Silver Rating for sustainability practices. These accolades highlight our unwavering commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable workplace.

Community engagement and social events

Beck & Pollitzer takes immense pride in supporting our employees and communities. Throughout 2024, we participated in various social initiatives and events to bring people together. In the Czech Republic, our team joined a charity run to promote wellness and give back to the local community, while in France, employees bonded during Petanque and Paintball Day events designed to foster team spirit.

In Poland, we embraced the holiday spirit with a St. Nicholas Day celebration, gifting all employees to show our appreciation for their hard work. Additionally, our sponsorship of the Hockey Team Zagłębie Sosnowiec demonstrated our commitment to supporting local sports and community development. Meanwhile, in the USA, we celebrated the festive season with a Halloween costume contest, and our teams engaged with future talent at recruitment fairs at Limestone College and the University of Economics in Katowice.
