Beck & Pollitzer has successfully completed the installation of a new Calender line for a large rubber sector client in Germany. The Beck & Pollitzer Group has installed many Calender lines for their Italian client over the years, in a variety of countries.
Beck & Pollitzer’s management team who were present for the duration of the installation ensured the machinery was skilfully and safely installed, in complete coordination with the customer’s representative.
The core responsibilities of the Beck & Pollitzer team were the mechanical, electrical, and pipe installations. These were carried out using forklifts and lifting platforms as well as mobile cranes.
The 30 strong crew was able to manage the equipment and perform the assembly despite some hurdles due to COVID-19 restrictions. But in the end, the leadership and technical know-how of the team led to a successful installation of the rolls.
