Beck & Pollitzer Poland is implementing a project to relocate machines from Poland to India for a client well known in the automotive industry. The project started with a series of technical meetings and risk assessments to ensure a smooth relocation.
This industrial relocation project includes transportation of metal processing machines, lathes, milling machines and chippers – with each of them weighing approx. 8-10 tons and their total weight is approximately 80T. Our team is also responsible for the mechanical and electrical disassembly of machines, their specialised packaging, and road and sea transport organisation.
The project has been assigned with suitably skilled industrial movers and management to ensure successful completion. The machines will be shipped in three separate batches to have minimum disruption to the client’s production processes.
This project is not only an opportunity to show our technical capabilities but also a significant logistic challenge, requiring proper coordination of work with the client, as well as within our organisation.
