Partnering with a global leader in advanced manufacturing and construction management, we delivered a <a href=\"https:\/\/beck-pollitzer.com\/us\/services\/machine-services\/\">turnkey industrial installation<\/a> of sophisticated material handling and automated storage systems for a premier battery manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The challenge: <\/strong>The primary challenge of this 15-month project was its evolving scale. During execution, the project <strong>scope expanded by 76%, necessitating exceptional<\/strong> logistical flexibility and resource management to maintain the timeline. Furthermore, the site was a high-density construction environment. Our team had to coordinate daily with up to <strong>50 concurrent contractors<\/strong>, ensuring that our <a href=\"https:\/\/beck-pollitzer.com\/us\/services\/industrial-rigging\/\">mechanical rigging<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/beck-pollitzer.com\/us\/essential-components-of-industrial-electrical-installations\/\">electrical wiring<\/a> activities did not interfere with the wider facility&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our solution: <\/strong>Operating with a peak workforce of <strong>100 skilled operatives<\/strong>, Beck &amp; Pollitzer managed the full lifecycle of the installation from unloading and uncarting to final alignment and commissioning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mechanical &amp; rigging scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ASRS systems:<\/strong> Installation of two large-scale <a href=\"https:\/\/beck-pollitzer.com\/us\/industries\/warehouse-automation\/\">Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems<\/a> across seven operational areas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SRM units:<\/strong> Precision installation and alignment of 17 Storage and Retrieval Machines.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conveyance:<\/strong> Installation of over 1,500 linear feet of STV (Sorting Transfer Vehicle) tracks and automated conveyors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support structures:<\/strong> Assembly of four major maintenance platforms and various support frameworks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Electrical &amp; control scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation of comprehensive cable tray networks.<\/li>\n<li>Mounting and wiring of primary power and control panels.<\/li>\n<li>Full-system power and control wiring to ensure seamless integration with the facility&#8217;s warehouse management system (WMS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Delivering results safely: <\/strong>Despite the project\u2019s duration exceeding 12 months and the significant increase in scope, the team maintained an impeccable safety record.
